$75,000 Settlement for Injuries From Auto Collision - January 21, 2010

On December 29, 2005, Roger Hagan was involved in a automobile collision with a minor who, failing to yield the right-of-way, made a left turn directly in front of the Hagan vehicle. At the time of the collision, the other driver was operating her vehicle under the influence of alcohol and Xanax.

Following a field sobriety test, the underaged woman was administered a blood alcohol test, which found her blood alcohol content to be twice the legal limit. Further, the young woman testified under oath that she was aware of the warnings for the medication that advised not to consume alcohol which taking the medication.

Mr. Hagan sustained a significant knee injury requiring him to undergo a medial meniscectomy and thereafter required extensive physical therapy. He continues to suffer from persistent pain and discomfort to his right leg.
