Settlement for Ruptured Aortic Aneurysm - May 28, 2010
A confidential settlement was reached in the medical malpractice case for a 60-year old man who dies as a result of failure to diagnose and treat a ruptured aortic aneurysm.
The Belleville, Illinois man went to his primary care physician with complaints of chest pain and stabbing pain into his upper back. He was admitted to a hospital where the doctors failed to diagnose and treat a ruptured aortic aneurysm. He was released from the hospital and died a few days later from the ruptured aneurysm.
The Padberg & Corrigan Law Firm filed a lawsuit in St. Clair County, Illinois on behalf the the man's four daughters.
