In 1999, he founded Padberg, Corrigan & Appelbaum law firm. For the past 25 years, Mike has represented clients who have been injured in car accidents, work injuries, truck accidents, product liability claims from dangerous products, medical malpractice claims caused by medical neglect and wrongful death claims.
In 2000, Mike was awarded the Lon 0. Hocker Trial Lawyer Award by The Missouri Bar. The award recognized Mike’s outstanding ability to represent clients in personal injury trials. Mike has tried over 60 personal injury trials throughout the states of Missouri, Illinois and Kentucky.
He has been successful in obtaining settlements for clients who have been severely injured or who have lost a loved one due to the negligence of a trucking company causing truck accidents. Mike has successfully resolved multiple cases exceeding $1,000,000.00 for trucking accident victims during his career.
Mike is a member of the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America. He has been selected as one of the top 100 trial lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers Association. Mike has also been recognized as a Super Lawyer.
Mike is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, Illinois Bar Association, St. Louis Metropolitan Bar Association, St. Louis Lawyers Association, American Trial Lawyers Association and serves as a member of the Board of Governors of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys.
Mike was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. His father, William Corrigan, served as a St. Louis County Circuit Judge for 35 years. Mike has been married to his wife, Leslie, for 21 years and they have three beautiful children, Jenny, Sarah, and Joe. Mike is an active member in the Catholic Church. He enjoys coaching his children’s basketball, soccer and football teams.
